Meet Our Staff

Hi!
I am Miss Stephanie, Creative Director of Energy Dance Center, and I hope you will join me on the dance floor! I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), where I majored in Communications with a focus on people and business. My dance instruction started when I was a little girl in a small town in Florida. I studied in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, tap and acro.

I have three little girls, and I am teaching young dancers at local elementary schools and in our Memorial/Energy Corridor studio space! Our dance programs are helping young people build character, confidence, strength, flexibility, and respect. Dancers and other athletes develop great motivation to work for, and achieve goals in every aspect of life.

Our studio also offers adult fitness classes, so check the schedule for Immature Adult Ballet and Adult Contemporary class times!

Hi, I am Miss Alyssa! I'm from Houston, TX and I've been dancing since I was 6 years old! I grew up training in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop.  I have also had the opportunity to travel across the country to take part in various competitions and conventions.

I am currently living my dream as a NBA Dancer for the Houston Rockets, where I have been able to perform in front of thousands of fans and meet new people! I am also a student at the University of Houston, working towards a degree in Communications and Kinesiology.

In my free time I enjoy running, traveling around the world, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family.

I am so grateful to be a part of an amazing team here at EDC and excited to work with our students!

Hi, I'm Miss Lizzie!

Right off the east coast, this native Texan is back where it all started! I spent years living in NYC pursuing my love for dance professionally. While in the "Big Apple," I accepted a job public relations for a major fashion conglomerate, while continuing to instruct and perform part-time in the city. From New York Fashion Week, to Broadway Dance Center, this former New

Yorker is ready to showcase her talents in the heart of Texas!

Hi, I'm Miss Makena!

I moved to Houston from California, where I received all of my dance training. I am trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acro. I have spent most of my life dancing, and have been honored to assist and teach at national conventions. The winner of numerous awards for technique and showmanship, I always work  hard, and encourage my students to keep at it too!

You can find me at EDC when I am not having a blast on the court with my Clutch City Dancers!
