Meet Our Staff

I am Miss Stephanie, Creative Director of Energy Dance Center, and I hope you will join me on the dance floor! I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) where I majored in Communications with a focus on people and business. My dance instruction started when I was a little girl in a small town in Florida. I studied in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, tap and acro.

Now, I have three little girls of my own, and I am teaching young dancers at local elementary schools and in our Memorial/Energy Corridor studio space! Our dance programs are helping young people build character, confidence, strength, flexibility, and respect. Dancers and other athletes develop great motivation to work for, and achieve goals in every aspect of life.

Our studio also offers adult fitness classes, so check the schedule for Yoga, Pilates, Stretch & Strength, Immature Adult Ballet, Ball of EnergyTM, and Dance BodTM times!

I am Miss Cissy. I am originally from Austin, TX and I was trained in jazz, tap and ballet starting at a very young age. While at Westwood High School, I had the privilege of being a 3-year member of the Sun Dancers and an Assistant for the Warrior Pride Dance team.

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While attending Texas State, I was a member of the Texas State University Strutters for 3 years. I also had the opportunity to dance as a Jazz Elite and Pom Squad member. I experienced numerous memorable performances including the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a featured performer.

I am the assistant director of dance at Memorial High School, and the newly appointed director of dance at Memorial Middle School. My most exciting role yet came to me when I became a mother in April of 2018! I am so excited to be working at Energy Dance Center and I am ready to ignite a passion for dance in my students!

Hi, I am Miss Katie Rose! I am from Memphis, and a graduate from The University of Alabama. My first dance class was when I was only 3, and eventually I worked hard enough to be selected as a competitive dancer in contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theatre, and tap dance styles.

I participated as a dancer, singer, and assistant choreographer in these local highs chool musicals: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, High School Musical 2, and Camp Rock the Musical. I also enjoyed performing various roles in the Nutcracker for ten consecutive years!  At UA's dance program (ranked in the Top 15 in the country), I was selected as a member of the Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre (ARDT) pre-professional company.

I am now a METdance Trainee for the 2018-2019 Season, which brought me to Houston, in addition to being closer to family. I am so happy to be sharing my passion and enthusiasm for dance with the Energy Dance Center family, and showing young dancers all the possibilities the dance world has for them!

I am Miss Cori, and that over there is NOT a picture of me! I have danced my whole life, thanks to being the daughter and granddaughter of dancers, teachers and studio owners. This always has been, and always will be my favorite thing about life!

I found EDC by surprise and jumped right in! I teach toddlers up to the teens, and love every minute!

I am excited to be a part of the Energy Dance Center family, and am in love with my role of teaching and developing young dancers to pursue their goals and dreams with confidence and passion.

Hi, I am Miss Alyssa! My bio will be here in a few minutes...
