Meet Our Staff
I am Miss Stephanie, Creative Director of Energy Dance Center, and I hope you will join me on the dance floor! I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) where I majored in Communications with a focus on people and business. My dance instruction started when I was a little girl in a small town in Florida. I studied in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, tap and acro.
I have three little girls, and I am teaching young dancers at local elementary schools and in our Memorial/Energy Corridor studio space! Our dance programs are helping young people build character, confidence, strength, flexibility, and respect. Dancers and other athletes develop great motivation to work for, and achieve goals in every aspect of life.
Our studio also offers adult fitness classes, so check the schedule for Pilates, Stretch & Strength, Immature Adult Ballet, Ball of EnergyTM, and Dance BodTM times!
I am Miss Cissy. I am originally from Austin, TX and I was trained in jazz, tap and ballet starting at a very young age. While at Westwood High School, I had the privilege of being a 3-year member of the Sun Dancers and an Assistant for the Warrior Pride Dance team.
I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While attending Texas State, I was a member of the Texas State University Strutters for 3 years. I also had the opportunity to dance as a Jazz Elite and Pom Squad member. I experienced numerous memorable performances including the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a featured performer.
I am the former assistant director of the Markettes at Memorial High School, and director of the Memorial Middle dance program. My most exciting role yet came to me when I became a mother in April of 2018, and then again in June of 2019! I have been igniting a passion for dance with my students at Energy Dance Center since January of 2016, my home away from home.
Hi, I am Miss Alyssa! I'm from Houston, TX and I've been dancing since I was 6 years old! I grew up training in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. I have also had the opportunity to travel across the country to take part in various competitions and conventions.
I am currently living my dream as a NBA Dancer for the Houston Rockets, where I have been able to perform in front of thousands of fans and meet new people! I am also a student at the University of Houston, working towards a degree in Communications and Kinesiology.
In my free time I enjoy running, traveling around the world, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family.
I am so grateful to be a part of an amazing team here at EDC and excited to work with our students!
I am Miss Soila. I am here to help the dance center run smoothly during the dance season (September thru May), and I lead the summer camp program!
You'll find my smiling face when you walk in most days, as I greet you for class, or help you find new shoes and gear.
